Meet Rachel Bloom

Rachel Bloom is the founder of Education in Bloom, a consulting practice dedicated to supporting families navigating the special education system with confidence and clarity. With over a decade of experience in public education, Rachel brings both expertise and empathy to her work with students, parents, and educators.

Throughout her career, Rachel has served as a Special Education Teacher, Program Support Specialist, Special Education Coordinator, and most recently, as a Support and Services Administrator in one of Georgia’s largest school districts. In each of these roles, she has facilitated IEP meetings, led professional development, collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, and helped implement inclusive practices that support the success of all learners.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Vermont, a Master’s degree in Special Education from Georgia State University, and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Berry College.

Her work is grounded in a strong belief that parents deserve to be informed and empowered. Rachel is passionate about helping families understand the resources, services, and legal rights available to them so they can make confident, informed decisions for their children. She understands how overwhelming the special education process can feel—and is committed to walking alongside families every step of the way.
